I originally had these beautifully illustrated posters designed as handouts for my own students, but when another piano teacher once saw one, they immediately asked if they could use them too. Since then, they’ve continued to sell online across the world!
‘Sitting At The Piano’ reminds students of all ages of the key points for good piano posture and healthy piano technique. ‘Notes In Spaces’ will not be everyone’s cup of tea, and many students will benefit more from the process of creating their own mnemonics for remembering note names, but many of my students learn well by having this to refer to. ‘Styles and Periods’ is not designed as a substitute for critical listening, but is rather a starting point, particularly for younger students coming to the higher ABRSM grades at an earlier stage in their musical development.
You can purchase and download these immediately below as PDFs. You can also order all three resources as high-quality A4 matt laminated posters, printed on thick silk paper (ideal for surviving trips in music bags). If you would like the colourful piano posture poster as a larger A3, A2 or even A1 poster for your studio wall, these are also available to order in hard copy. Due to the ever-rising costs of postage, please contact me directly to arrange your order. Purchased prints and PDFs are not watermarked.
