Most of Jack’s career is spent at a piano or keyboard. A skilled and reliable sight-reader, Jack often works as an audition and rehearsal pianist, as well as an accompanist for concerts, exams, workshops and masterclasses, in addition to keys playing for theatre.
With vast experience of ABRSM, Trinity, LCM and Rockschool, Jack is the first port of call for many seeking an accompanist for music exams.
As an audition pianist, Jack is used to working alongside casting directors and production teams playing for show auditions, as well as routine openings for artist management agencies in London.
Jack regularly plays for show rehearsals: including in the past for School of Rock (Gillian Lynne Theatre) and as a répétiteur for Opera Holloway. Jack also has experience as a ballet pianist, specifically RAD syllabus classes and exams.
Over the years, Jack has formed many ongoing relationships with performers in need of some last-minute help before an audition, or just wanting to brush up on their repertoire. Jack is always happy to assist at short notice, and can record songs remotely, even providing transcriptions of otherwise unavailable repertoire. Click here for more information.
Jack is also equipped to record high quality piano and keyboard tracks from his home studio, often collaborating remotely with composers and producers. Take a look at one example here.
