As an MD and conductor, Jack has worked on concerts, sessions and theatre productions in London and across the UK. With experience spanning the commercial music sector, Jack enjoys everything from large-scale productions to intimate cabaret shows and workshops, often combining his skills as an arranger and fixer. Jack also enjoys collaborating as an associate and assistant MD.
Highlights as a musical director include a gala concert at the London Palladium and conducting a 35-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios for a new musical, orchestrated and supervised by Larry Blank. In 2019, Jack received an award for Outstanding Musical Direction on a youth theatre production of Little Shop of Horrors (in the 14th Annual National Youth Arts Awards).
Jack is also a qualified Vocal Health First Aider and continues to keep abreast of the latest thinking on voice science. He regularly attends courses and masterclasses in spoken voice, as well as accent work, and has completed Levels 1 and 2 in Estill Voice Training. As such, he is well-equipped to deliver safe and informed vocal coaching to performers of all ages.
